The Last date of exam fees is 20th May 2020, and the official exam date announced from AP 4th August 2020.
The application form is available now at sche.ap.gov.in. Andhra University (AU) conducts AP Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).
It shall hold the exam at the state level for admission of candidates in M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / Pharm.D (PB) courses.
Candidates having bachelor qualifying degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks from an AICTE/UGC approved institutions and fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for AP PGECET 2020.

AP PGECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Check the eligibility criteria given below for AP PGECET 2020.
Nationality: The applicants must be Indian nationals.
Nativity: The candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh / Telangana and must fulfill the local / doc-local status requirements.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for unreserved categories) from an AICTE / UGC approved institution.
AP PGECET 2020 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The exam is conducted in the online mode
- Language: The question paper will be in the English language
- Total number of questions: There are 120 questions in total
- Type of questions: Multiple-choice questions are asked in the exam
- Negative marking: 01 marks for the correct answers. No negative marking for wrong answers
AP PGECET 2020 Important Instructions
On the examination day, the candidates are required to follow certain instructions. Check the points given below.
- Reach the exam center on time as after the scheduled time, candidates are not allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Candidates must maintain discipline at the time of the exam.
AP PGECET 2020 Answer Key
The university releases the AP PGECET 2020 answer key at sche.ap.gov.in/PGECET. First, the provisional answer keys are released which can be challenged if candidates find any error in it. After considering the errors, a final answer key is released. After the release of the answer key, no objections are entertained.
AP PGECET 2020 Result
AP PGECET 2020 result is published on the official website sche.ap.gov.in with the Rank Cards. Candidates can check their result using registration number and PGECET hall ticket number. The result includes ranks of the candidates obtained in the Examination. Qualified candidates based on their ranks are called for counseling. The selection of candidates and allotment to colleges will be on the basis of rank obtained at the Common Entrance Test.
Cut off Marks/ Qualify Marks
For qualifying AP PGECET 2020, the applicants need to get a minimum 25% in the test. There are not the least qualifying marks for SC / ST applicants.

Candidates need to download their Rank Cards and take a print out of the same to appear in the round of Counselling.
